Rajeana M. Conway, MD
Dr. Rajeana Conway is originally from Maysville, Kentucky. She is married with two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, watching TV, crafting, and going to the lake. Dr. Conway is a specialist in internal medicine and focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. She graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2011. Dr. Conway earned her medical degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2015 and completed her residency in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Conway’s interests in preventative medicine and the management of chronic disease processes make her an excellent fit for FPA. She also has an interest in primary care dermatology. She aims to help adults take control of their own health to become and stay well. Dr. Conway is available for new patients over 18 years of age and routine office visits. She will be mainly located at the Harrodsburg Road office.
Dr. Aletia Farmer
Family Practice Associates of Lexington is pleased to welcome Dr. Aletia Farmer to our office. Dr. Farmer began her education at UK where she graduated cum laude with BS in Biology in 1998. She then graduated from medical school at UK in 2005 where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine in June of 2008. While at UK, she received numerous awards and recognitions, including Beale Primary Care Scholarship and Primary Care Resident Award.
Dr. Farmer is trained in all aspects of internal medicine and it’s specialties, managing both acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical interests include Women’s Health, preventative medicine and chronic disease management. She is available to see patients 18 years and older. She will see patients at both our Hamburg and Brannon Crossing offices.

Dr. Farmer is a native from Lexington and lives with her husband Wesley and 2 children. Jakob and Adeline. She enjoys boating, snow skiing and gardening. She is excited to join FPA and looks forward to long lasting relationships with his patients.

Amanda R. Foxx, MD
Dr. Amanda Foxx grew up in Lexington, KY. After graduating from Furman University in Greenville, SC, Dr. Amanda Foxx attended medical school at the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2011. She then completed her residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UK in May 2015, where she was Chief Resident from 2014-2015.
Dr. Amanda Foxx has a special interest in preventative care and women’s health. She enjoys taking care of all patients from newborns to the elderly. She is very excited to start her career at the same practice founded by her father. Dr. Amanda Foxx is an excellent addition to FPA.

Sarah O’Leary, MD
Dr. O’Leary graduated from medical school from Ohio State University before moving to Kentucky to complete a dual residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. Lindsey Clickner was born and raised in Lexington and is married with 3 boys. She enjoys hiking, skiing and reading. Lindsey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (R.N.) in 2004 from Regis University in Colorado and has experience in a variety of nursing roles including critical and intensive care.
After working as an R.N., Lindsey decided to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner and attended Gardner Webb University in North Carolina. She graduated from Gardner Webb in May 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Lindsey’s interests include women’s health and will perform annual Medicare Wellness exams. She can see patients of all ages and has begun her practice at Family Practice Associates of Lexington in September of 2016.

Jeanelle received her Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Louisville in 1990. She has been practicing as a physical therapist in Lexington for the past 33 years. During that time, she has completed additional certifications through a commitment to continuing education and professional development. In 2008, she became a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. The Mulligan Concept utilizes a system of mobilization with movement, to address painful or limited mobility in multiple areas of the body. In 2011, she became certified in the Astym system, a treatment approach addressing soft tissue restrictions throughout the body. In 2013, she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Kentucky, in keeping with the nationwide advancement of the field of physical therapy to doctoral level training. In 2020, she completed her certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, utilizing a system of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the spine and extremities.
“Jeannie” lives in Lexington with her husband of 32 years. They have two 2 wonderful sons and two lovely daughters-in-law. Meagan Obst, APRN
Meagan Obst, APRN is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Lexington, Ky several years ago to attend the University of Kentucky. She met her husband, Ricky, while attending the University, and they are married with two children, Stella and William. In her time off she enjoys hiking, sporting events, cooking, reading, and being outdoors with her family.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2014, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She has 7 plus years of experience as a Registered Nurse, as a Neonatal ICU nurse and Trauma/Surgical nurse. Meagan decided to further her education with a Master’s Degree in Nursing at Chamberlain University. She became a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner upon graduating with her MSN in 2019.
She began her career as a nurse practitioner in the Urgent Care setting. She has 2.5 years of Urgent Care and Family Practice experience as a Nurse Practitioner, which has given her a broad range of experience in managing both acute and chronic care visits. Meagan enjoys Pediatrics, Women’ health, weight loss management, Urgent care visits, and mental health management. Meagan looks forward to serving her community and patients in this role with FPA.

Shelby Riggs is originally form Northern Kentucky, but has resided in Richmond, Kentucky for many years. She is married, has two daughters, and enjoys reading and crafting. Shelby received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (R.N.) in 2008 from Eastern Kentucky University and has experience in a variety of nursing roles including pediatrics and endocrinology. After working for nearly 10 years as an RN in the hospital, Shelby decided to further her education and graduated as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in August 2017 from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Shelby’s experience and personality make her an excellent fit for FPA. Shelby enjoys women’s health and pediatric issues but can see any patients of all ages. She is available for new patient visits, well child and preventive adult visits, as well as routine office visits.
Amanda Shackelford, APRN
Amanda started her medical career in 2007 when she obtained her associate degree in Medical Assisting. She worked as a CMA for 6 years at FPA. She went on to obtain her nursing degree from Midway University in 2013 and worked in the Neurosurgical ICU at Baptist Health Lexington. After working at the bedside for 9 years, she decided to further her education and obtained her MSN from Chamberlain University and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2022. During her program, she completed her entire clinical rotation here at Family Practice Associates alongside Dr. Johnson. Her interest includes women’s health, preventative medicine, and chronic disease management.
Amanda is originally from Lexington. She lives with her husband Tony, and her two goldendoodles, Wall•E and Remy. During her free time, she loves to travel (especially to Disney World), spend time with family and friends, bake, and plan events.
