LEXINGTON, KY – (April 14, 2005) – Family Practice Associates of Lexington’s (FPA) relocation to Hamburg Office Park is on track for an opening target date of June 6, 2005.  All nine (9) board-certified/eligible family physicians, two (2) certified physician assistants, and 37 staff members will combine into one spacious medical facility at 1775 Alysheba Way in the Hamburg Office Park, off Man O’War Boulevard at Pink Pigeon Parkway.

The medical group will occupy the top floor of the 48,000-square-foot Class “A” medical office building developed by Family Practice Properties.  “The new location’s easy access from Lexington’s main roads and I-75, plus sheltered patient drop-off, and convenient parking will improve our capabilities to serve our patients and the community,” according to Dr. Jeff Foxx, FPA’s founder and Chief Executive Officer.

“We designed the space with the needs of our patients and staff in mind,” said Susan Miller, RN, Administrator for the medical group since 1990.   FPA has been in the forefront of health information technology adoption, offering computerized patient records and electronic prescribing beginning in 2000.  “Medicine has changed over the past thirty years since I began practice.  FPA’s new facility makes it possible to take advantage of high tech solutions while continuing our tradition of quality family care,” said Dr. Leo Rogers.
