In May 2009, FPA expanded its web services when it began offering "virtual office visits" for a limited number of illness for patients of Dr. Jeff Foxx.  Medical conditions accepted for a virtual office visit include minor ailments such as skin rashes (pictures can be uploaded); GI symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea; back pain and urinary tract infection symptoms.  The patient is required to complete a detailed medical history to submit to Dr. Foxx online.  He will reply with a plan of care.  There is a $20 charge for a virtual office visit.

A website will never replace the personal relationship between patients and physicians, however, it is a convenience for patients who are unable to come to FPA, but need to communicate with the health care professional regarding minor medical concerns.  Because it is necessary for patients to see their doctor regarding multiple and varying medical conditions, many medical concerns will require an office visit.
