Family Practice Associates of Lexington (FPA) is pleased to introduce Raleigh Kincaid, licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT).  As family physicians, we realize a family’s pattern of behavior influences the individual in ways that can affect medical conditions and the plan of care, says Dr. Jeff Foxx. Research has shown marriage and family therapy to be effective in dealing with a wide range of conditions including depression and anxiety, individual, marital and parent-child issues.  Typically, according to Raleigh Kincaid, marriage and family therapy is brief, solution-focused, goal-oriented, and designed with the “end in mind”.  Studies show that clients are highly satisfied with services of Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT’s).

Raleigh Kincaid completed his Master’s degree program in Family Studies at the University of Kentucky in 1998.  He is licensed through the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Marriage and Family Therapists and member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).  Before joining FPA, Mr. Kincaid was in private practice from 1999 to 2006.
